Clear win history removes your solved-puzzle stats but keeps this device's identity (and any sync codes tied to it). Wipe all data removes that identity entirely and starts you fresh — this can't be undone.
Every puzzle gives you a Start performer and an End performer — your job is to connect them by clicking through shared videos. Starting from the Start performer, you'll see their videos; click one to see who else appears in it, then click a name to continue the chain. Once you reach the End performer, your chain is submitted and scored automatically. Each click is a hop, and the goal is to reach the End in as few hops as possible. The arrow between Start and End is clickable before you begin, letting you pick which side to start from.
Why is there only one puzzle per mode per day?
Each mode gets exactly one daily puzzle, and it's the same puzzle for every player regardless of time zone — the day rolls over at UTC midnight, not your local midnight. Check the 📜 Puzzle Archive for past days you missed.
What if I started today's puzzle, but I want to swap the Start and End?
Refresh the page. This will lose any progress and reset the puzzle.
I already solved today's puzzle — why can't I replay it?
Reloading (or revisiting from the Puzzle Archive) shows your completed result instead of a fresh puzzle — each daily can only be solved once per mode. Come back tomorrow (UTC) for a new one, or use 📜 to look back at past days.
What's the difference between the modes?
Each mode scopes which performers can appear in it. General includes everyone; Hololive and Indie only connect performers affiliated with those respective groups; Streamer-to-VTuber always starts from a streamer and ends at a VTuber. Switching modes changes both today's puzzle and the pool of performers you can click through to solve it.
Where does this game's data come from?
Performer and video data is collected from YouTube — video titles and descriptions are scanned for collaborations between performers. It isn't a general web crawl, and it isn't built from open user submissions; the dataset is curated and periodically corrected (see below).
How often is new data added?
An automated process periodically checks each performer's YouTube channel for new uploads and scans video titles and descriptions for collaborations — this runs on a recurring schedule, not instantly, so a brand new video or collab can take a few days to show up here. Only YouTube is actually scanned this way: a performer's Twitch, X, or other listed links (see the 🔗 icon) are shown for reference but aren't scraped for collab data, so someone active mainly off YouTube may show fewer connections than their real activity would suggest.
I found incorrect data — how do I report it?
Use the ❗ icon and choose "Incorrect Data Report." Pick what's wrong and the specific video or performer it's about — no account or verification needed to flag something.
I'm a performer and something about my own data is wrong — what do I do?
Use the ❗ icon and choose "Modify My Data." You'll need to verify you actually own the performer's listed channel before any change takes effect, by posting a one-time code somewhere on that channel.
Do I need an account? Is my data private?
No account or login, ever. You're identified only by a random anonymous ID stored in this browser — not tied to your name, email, or anything else. To bring your stats to another browser or device, open ⚙️ Settings and generate a sync code there: a short, one-time code, valid only for a short window, that you enter on the other device to link it to the same anonymous history.
What happens if I lose this browser or device?
Your stats live with the anonymous ID stored in that browser. If you generated and used a sync code beforehand (see above), your history is safely tied to your other device too. But if you never generated one and lose access to the original browser, that history can't be recovered — there's no account or email behind it to fall back on.
What are all of these icons?
Can I change the site's language?
Yes — use the language selector in the top-right corner of the header to switch the site's interface (buttons, labels, and this Help section) into another language. This is separate from the 🌐 icon next to a performer's name, which cycles that specific name through its own available languages; the header selector only changes the surrounding UI text, not performer or video names.
Why does this TTS sound strange?
The 🔊 icon uses your browser and operating system's own built-in text-to-speech voices, not a server-side voice service — so quality and pronunciation depend entirely on what's installed on your device. Some platforms sound natural; others (particularly on Linux) use a rougher synthesizer that can mangle unfamiliar names, especially in non-English languages.
